DESCRIPTION:Many different categories for our most prestigious competition of the year. \n📋 General Competition Rules\n\n\nEligibility: Open to all fully paid-up club members. \n\n\nOriginality: All images must be the sole work of the photographer. No AI-generated content or third-party stock elements are permitted. \n\n\nRe-use: Images must not have been previously entered into any major club competitions this season. \n\n\n🖼️ Category 1: Triple Print Competition (Common Theme)\n\n\nFormat: Three physically separate prints presented together. \n\n\nCohesion: The three images must share a clear common theme\, conceptual narrative\, or visual style and labelled left\, centre and right. \n\n\nMounting: Each print must be separately mounted on a standard board size (e.g.\, 50cm x 40cm or as per club preference). \n\n\nJudging: The judge will score the entry as a single cohesive triplet based on story-telling value and thematic alignment. [1\, 2] \n\n\n🌿 Category 2: Nature Digital Projected Image (DPI)\n\n\nTheme: Must adhere strictly to standard Nature photography guidelines. \n\n\nSubject Matter: Images can feature untamed flora\, fauna\, geology\, or natural phenomena. Domesticated animals\, cultivated plants\, and obvious human environments are excluded. \n\n\nDigital Format: Must be submitted in JPG format\, sRGB colour space. \n\n\nResolution: Sized to a maximum width of 1600 pixels and maximum height of 1200 pixels (or the club’s specific projector standard). [3\, 4] \n\n\n🎴 Category 3: 5-Image Print Panel (Common Theme on One Board)\n\n\nLayout: Exactly 5 separate photographic prints must be arranged and mounted onto a single physical board. \n\n\nThematic Flow: The images must display a strong common theme\, continuous narrative\, or graphic relationship. \n\n\nPresentation: Balance and panel layout will be taken heavily into consideration during the final assessment. \n\n\nSizing: Recommended individual print sizes should be smaller (e.g.\, 7″x5″ or 6″x4″) to comfortably fit the dimensions of a single 50cm x 40cm mounting board.
